Hexproof won't work because it's not a target effect.

On an unrelated note, Teneb, the Harvester as a commander plus this in EDH is just out right mean. "I'll wipe the board and then pick a really big creature to put on my side of the field because life is fair."

9/25/2006 If Nether Traitor and another creature are put into your graveyard at the same time, Nether Traitor's ability won't trigger.

Would exiled creatures be destroyed too?

Once made a deck where the win condition was to put this onto an unblockable creature (like Invisible Stalker), give it something like Darksteel Plate, then win by dealing one damage repeatedly. Even better in multiplayer games where there are multiple people to kill so I can systematically kill them by hitting them for one over and over again. Of course, whenever I happened to be able to make an indestructible world-slaying stalker (as I came to call the invisible stalker that was plated and worldslayer'd), people would just concede, but it was fun all the same.

@Buddy3: There actually is no such thing as an "exiled creature" within the rules. Something can only be a creature while on the battlefield; in any other zone other than the stack, it's just a "creature card". (On the stack, it's a "creature spell".) The same logic holds for other permanent types. Also, in general, you can only destroy permanents on the battlefield. So, nope.
