My n00b friend was wondering if slivers that say "All slivers gain X ability/stat" give their stat or bonus to themselves. E.G. does Bonesplitter sliver get +2/0 due to his own effect?

Slivers do effect themselves, and it isn't confusing when you can look at the rulings.

run 4 of with True Conviction. Magically get all on the field, and swing with a sliver, gaining 5x the damage it deals. unpowered, that's 15. with all 4 slivers swinging, that's 60. and with homing sliver, it really isn't unreasonable. (BONUS- you can also block with a sliver, and even if it breaks, before it dies you gain 15 life.)
EDIT: I forgot double strike. gain 30 life with one attack, 120 with all 4 slivers. my bad.

This is currently not lifelink but a couple years ago it was. I think they changed it along with the M10 rules but don't quote me on that

Did anyone realise that this counters your opponent's Plague Sliver assuming someone would actually sideboard them against a sliver deck?

Beautiful card, but this text (and others like it) seriously need some errata. Being a triggered ability Lifelink that stacks is unbearably broken. The amount of arguments this has caused in my group is ridiculous, and I always feel a little bad for siding with the "rules" over playability.
