So what happens when Mirror Gallery is in play and you turn Mizzium Transreliquat into a Memnarch... assuming that both of the "gain control" abilities resolve at the same time....? D____D

If you use it on itself, it will get an extra copy of its second ability. And you can do this repeatedly to give it many, many copies of that ability! However, it will lose them all if it permanently copies anything else...

I was reading the comments talking about this card with Isochron Scepter and Panoptic Mirror to get big instants and sorcereries on a stick. But could you make and cast copies of creatures by using Death-Mask Duplicant's imprint ability? What happens when Isochron Scepter has more than one card imprinted on it?

I didn't see any consensus in these posts, so I checked the web for a ruling, and found an answer by Camper11 on the MTG Salvation forums. It was posted in 2009, but it matches the text in the current comprehensive rules.
Unfortunately, Luke_BPC and Razbot are right. When an ability mentions "the exiled item", it is always linked with the previous ability that exiled the item. The ability will only work with items that were exiled with the linked imprint ability, not other imprint abilities. So when new abilities are gained, those new ones won't link to the old.
Current rulings (MagicCompRules 2013/11/01)
607.1. An object may have two abilities printed on it such that one of them causes actions to be taken or objects or players to be affected and the other one directly refers to those actions, objects, or players. If so, these two abilities are linked: the second refers only to actions that were taken or objects or players that were affected by the first, and not by any other... (see all)

I'm not entirely sure what it's supposed to do since people usually use artifacts as specific combo-pieces for their decks, but I suppose that's the fun of it.
