Yo dawg, I heard you like Flanking, so we gave your Flanking creatures Flanking, so you can -1/-1 while you -1/-1.
@Test-Subject: Once the blockers are declared, regardless of whether they are removed from combat (because they go to the graveyard due to having 0 toughness, for instance), the attacking creature is still blocked, so no damage will get through unless the attacker also has Trample.

Flanking creatures with flanking you control have flanking, flanking, flanking, flanking, and flanking. (Each instance of flanking must be spoken separately.)
For flank's sake.

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
This card is referencing the flanking Knights from Mirage as well as the various "lords" like Goblin King by giving flanking Knights their own twist on +1/+1. Possibly also referencing Zhalfirin Commander.

Fun with flanking! (no duh) But seriously, this makes all your turn one sidewinder slivers or mtenda herders effectively 3/3 when blocked.
It's really funny, the flavor flaw of flanking: ten billion 1/1's block your Mtenda Herder at once, and they ALL DIE. Turns out being on a horse is better than we give it credit for.
Fine with Crib Swap. Good with Mercy Killing. KILLER with Godhead of Awe. BAM.

A forgotten knight lord. Still, he makes blocking a really bad idea. Not as good as the other lords, but still a solid knight.
