yes the overuning creatures would be 3/5. however I think they might lose the trample provided by overun.

I love this card. A creature with shroud is helpless against it. I use it to take down blightsteel with a 2/2 creature lol.
I do have one question about the rules though:
If I have down 2 Dragonspeaker shaman's and cast a creature that costs 7 so I only pay 3, and my opponent casts sudden spoiling would my creature spell still resolve?

@Eved - but you're missing the best part, you could block with little girl and play giant growth, which would be the greatest way to kill Progenitus ever!

The effect of this card is worth at least 3 stars IMO. Add to that the fact that it has Split Second, which (if nothing else) means that it can't be countered or anything annoying like that. That'll be another +1 in my book. Then, the fact that this only affects one player means you can use it to neutralize/crush/destroy your opponent's board while leaving your own unscathed ... that's another +1, bringing us up to a 5/5 card.

This card is so good. It makes all your opponent's creatures vanilla 0/2 until the EOT and it has Split Second.

Split Second is one of the best abilities in the game and Wizards should bring it back.
