Or...
Turn 1: Forest, Wild Growth
Turn 2: Forest, any 1 drop creature, Earthcraft, then any number of 2 cmc or less creatures.
There are a lot more (and cheaper) ways to untap lands than creatures. And to do so repeatedly. Wild growth is a staple of infinite combos simply by making those land untappers give you more.

This and Auras like it in Enchantment decks are beastly powerful. Gotta love Kor Spiritdancer or Argothian Enchantress. New players don't know what good decks are.

You could get 5 playsets of Wild Growth for the same cost as one Birds of Paradise. That's what I call card advantage.

If they ever reprint this, you can be assured that it will be at a higher rarity. Or will be printed as something else with the same functionality but a higher cost. This kills in mono green.

@ djflo:
Utopia Sprawl is indeed excellent, but this can go on ANY land, not just a forest.
They are flexible in different ways to multicolor decks, and play nearly identical in green decks.
Why hasn't this been reprinted in over 10 years? We've seen overgrowth, fertile ground, and Utopia sprawl printed without anything from this guy.

I think you guys have failed to see the major bonus this has over BoP. After turn one, this card is free. BoP always costs one mana, and you have to wait a turn to use it.

I don't know why they don't reprint this anymore. This is perfectly fit in modern Magic.
We have Utopia Sprawl, why not that too?

Disregarding the combos with untap lands, this thing is safer then llanowar elves and birds, and pays for itself other then on T1.

Back then, land destruction was a thing, so people played Birds of Paradise and Llanowar Elves but not this in most decks.
Nowadays land destruction is restricted to just a random Acidic Slime very occasionally. And this is why Wild Growth would be too good to print today. Why play Elvish Mystic, when you could have the much less fragile (and in some cases, faster) version of it?
