If you attack with Gorgon Recluse and an opponent declares blockers, blocking Gorgon Recluse, or an opponent attacks and you declare Gorgon Recluse as a blocker, you can immediately use Turn to Mist or Otherworldly Journey and the creature that Gorgon Recluse blocked or the creature that blocked Gorgon Reclose will be destroyed, because blockers were declared involving Gorgon Recluse, which is what the rules are looking for.

Love the fact that you don't have to actually do damage with her in order to kill the creature. So turn to mist her.

Far too expensive to hardcast, but Madness totally makes up for it. Especially if you can make yourself discard as an instant and drop her in response to an attack.
The four toughness goes a long way as well.

I like how this is better than most deathtouch creatures because it don't need to deal damage; but at the same time, deathtouch can combo with first strike and this can't. An Ambush Viper cannot kill Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite while Gorgon Recluse can block and kill nearly anything. The extra toughness is what every blocker needs. Also, mentioned in most comments, the madness can be play if it's discard as a cost at instant speed, increases the chance of killing a powerful attacker. Additionally, being "Gorgon" add an another 1 star to it. 4/5

Madness cost is the real boon here. 2/4 with the gorgon ability for 2? HECK YEAH. Black is seriously lacking in efficient creatures, and this one does it.

Gorgon Recluse's ability wouldn't trigger because it would be exiled
so Turn to Mist wouldn't work
I'm fairly sure about that
decent cards, use with Fog like cards or in a madness deck well, what else can I say?

i REALLY wish this affected black creatures too... or was at least changed to death-touch? lol the more i play magic and make decks the more i feel like Blacks biggest threat is... facing black.
