Colorshifted variant of Drudge Skeletons. White creatures generally deal with damage prevention and redirection rather the regeneration, so this is an interesting card.

Seeing both Spirit and Soldier on one card is overkill. Considering how much WotC has been pushing more tribal-based play, this makes this "colorshifted" card a lot more powerful than its original version. Soldiers have at least 4 "lord" creatures which pump them in various ways, while Skeletons only have Death Baron. Don't even get me started on Spirit creatures or Soulshift.
Given the strong tribal power, I'd say Revered Dead is more a colorshifted Walking Dead, though the Zombie tribal isn't anywhere near as strong as both Spirit and Soldier tribals combined.
On another note, when I first saw this card I took it to be the colorshifted version of Restless Dead rather than Drudge Skeletons. Restless Dead sounds a lot closer to Revered Dead at least.

A fair option for white weenie/control. Regenerate makes for a very resilient blocker that turns into a reusable attacker when pumped by things like Marshal's Anthem and Honor of the Pure.

Actually... I think you're all wrong (including the rulings.) This is a colorshifted Unworthy Dead, hence the name Revered Dead.

This is a colorshifted Drudge Skeletons. It is, however, a lot better because it has the Spirit creature type. And the soldier type, though the skeletons might have that...

Does anyone have a problem with the Drudge Skeleton clones all having "Dead" in their name? Not leaving much to the imagination, yeah?
What's important is that this guy is killer with banding. I will assign all combat damage to you- you'll happily take it and say "Please sir, could I have some more?"

I know this is supposed to be the timeshifted version of Drudge Skeletons, but couldn't it also qualify as a timeshifted version of Walking Dead? I personally think both this card and Walking Dead are better then Drudge Skeletons, because they both have good tribal types.

I was wondering when white would have Regenerate.

I think it's definitely worth a shot, seeing as how it's a both a spirit and soldier.

Interesting take on drudge skeletons... although I'm not sure if it will see as much play as the skeletons have...
