My friend (a very snobby, staunchly Blue mage who is a Spike through and through, but I still talk to him because he actually is very good at Magic and has a good taste for flavor) once made fun of me for playing this card in a competitive deck of mine, and eventually convinced me to cut it, but I swear to god I regret it in hindsight because never has a card brought a smile to my face as consistently as did my Evolution Charm.

I know the charms 'should' vary some what in power, but the planar chaos charms vary wildly. This one is excellent, the white one was good, the rest are pretty bad.

I really like returning a creature from graveyard in instant, quite usefull with Mystic Snake or Ravenous Baloth. Searching for a land is also a good option, but giving flying to a creature ? in GREEN spell ? seriously.... what happened to color pie?
