The rarity doesn't really make much sense. Maybe its becuse of its tribal type?

It's rare to come upon a card that could almost hold its own next to chimney imp. Throw in some embershots and you got a deck.

Useless. This card was created after Shivan Dragon, a good card that itself wasn't game-breaking or format-defining. Trash like this is insulting since it clutters up rare spots and is a great way to get new players out of the game once they realize that even the rares they pulled from their core set packs are unplayable.
