Its ability makes it really hard to keep around for any practical use. At least it will almost always avoid wrath of god or any other remove all creature effects.

Is there ANY time this would be useful?

Doesn't it favor overextending from your opponents? Want to remove this blocker? Play a creature before you attack. Do the same next turn to get two monsters through. Then get hit with a Wrath of God or something... Hmm.

I can't believe so many people don't like this card. Play it with Forbidden Orchard and lots of Obliterate, Apocalypse, etc and you have a winning strategy.

pandemonium anyone? This and norin the wary together. Very nice. Sadly norin wont leave play from this guy coming back, so just play something or attack with something to have norin leave play for 5 damage per turn.

i love this card. glad the art made me stop to look at it or else i might not have built a deck around such an annoying effect.

Puca's Mischief works wonders with this. Other than that, almost no use worth paying 4 mana for.

Can be fun in plane chase, works well with Murasa or Immersturm

Just a thought - throw Saltskitter into a Soul Sisters deck, and lose track of how many times the lifegain and counters for Ajani's Pridemate get added.
Heck - wouldn't just 2 of these lead to an infinite life and/or infinitely large Pridemate situation, since each one coming back would trigger the other one to leave again, then come back again?

I really love the artwork, but I just can't see myself using the card effectively.
