Its a fact! This cute little guy right is the ONLY card in Magic the Gathering with the ability to "transfigure"! It's the future and "tutoring" is running a muck, might we be seeing this on several cards in the somewhat near future?? Why.. Yes lads, I believe we will :)

@Sweetooth
I think the haste argument was that the creature is supposed to be "turning into" another one, so on some flavorful level it's not newly coming under your control and so shouldn't suffer from summoning sickness.
As for fun targets, most of 'em have already been mentioned...but it seems poor little Clone has been overlooked. It's an excellent thing to have in the deck with this because it just gives you so many options. Same applies to Sower of Temptation

Lightning Angel, Solemn Simulacrum, Lodestone Golem, Sower of Temptation, Moggcatcher, Elvish Lyrist, Master Transmuter, Dawn Elemental, Sakashima's Student, etc. With Recurring Nightmare, this could be even nastier, especially if you're sac'ing Nether Traitor, something with undying or persist...
I like that the color-specific casting cost is negated, and that the creature it transfigures into cannot be countered. For black, that is a big game, because it is completely unnatural to the color pie. Of course, there are better options when running more colors... Oh, and this can't die to Doom Blade, so with something like Swiftfoot Boots or Sword of Fire and Ice, most problems it could run into are no issue.

Now I can't even play Magic without being reminded of Miley Cyrus!

I thought this card was ridiculous card advantage until I saw you could only sac it as a sorcery :(.

Play this guy. During your next turn, pay 3 mana, sacrifice him and bring in Huntmaster of the Fells. Get a wolf. Gain 2 life. Pass the turn. Deal 2 damage to an opponent. Then to a creature. So much worth. Cheating out Huntmaster has never been so easier.
...What's a Birthing Pod?

This card is intense. A four drop utility creature with a solid 3/3 body is good. His ability requires no tapping, so you can use it immediately if you have the mana, or just save it for later.
More importantly, having a creature that can tutor in the same color as reanimate effects and graveyard combos is very nifty.
