It can be great esp with giant shrouded fatties... But having multiples out does nothing.

Its low cost doesn't really justify playing it early, and by the end of the game you'd rather have Overwhelming Stampede. However, great combo with Stonebrow, Krosan Hero.

@EnV: The main reason to play Brawn is if your deck has ways to put cards into the graveyard without playing them (Mulch is built for that sort of thing, some green/black or green/blue builds will use this sort of strategy). That way you get your trample completely free and it's much harder to deal with (opponent needs graveyard hate as opposed to something to deal with enchantments or just something to deal with permanents in general)

So basically, the cards have two different uses. Brawn, ironically, is the one that requires more brains. That's not to say this card is the "stupid" option, but it requires a lot less planning and can thus fit into more deck types.

@Env
Because Brawn doesn't cost any mana, can't be destroyed, can be casted as a 3/3 if you have multiples (or are simply desperate) and doesn't slow your tempo. Even if you don't run black, Brawn is pretty easy to toss (Wild Mongrel.)

That said, this card is simple and easy to use. It doesn't require anything special to work and it's a decent card for beginners so they can not only learn keywords, but have an easy to understand/manipulate deck. The game is so huge that cards like this need to be in the game so people can build knowledge over time.
