LOL @ Selez are you kidding??? this guy is rather easy to deal with and by the time most merfolk decks can play him you already have answers or counters ready.
This card is ok but i would much rather just beat face with lords of atlantis and merrow reejerey. 2.5 stars

Good luck winning when your opponent has this thing is even an average Merfolk deck

This card plus splinter twin and merfolk sovereign make an infinite turn combo as well. i have a dragon and merfolk deck that has taken advantage of this a couple of times.

Nothing fancy, nothing complicated, just Sword of Light and Shadow. If you untap with this, it's good game. Everything a 6 drop should be.

Really, Lorwyn? An extra turn? This is like the Yata-Garasu of Magic.

I think this card is amazing. I'm just not sure how many one should run in an aggro Merfolk deck, or if one should run one, or perhaps two, of this card in a Merfolk mill deck. And then there's the question of the amount of protection that should be put in for it as well. It's all about balancing the quantity and the costs.

Anything that can potentially give infinite turns is pretty much guaranteed to be awesome.

A terrible card in a set with Protective Bubble. For the other guy, that is.
