Really allows goblins to play a more controlling role, with cards like Tarfire and Festering goblin.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who discovered her when looking for a general.
She's the best general, by the way. We don't win together much, but it's ridiculously fun.

The baby goblins are kind of cute :) I want this for my Rb legacy goblin deck.

So I was looking up red/black legends to recommend for a friend's EDH general, and I found this. I first read it, and I was like "that's a weird effect that makes no sense." Then I realized I was reading the flavor text first.

Warren Weirding is absolutely brutal with her, every turn making someone sacrifice a creature for 2 mana is way too much fun

@Misago - If the stuff really hits the fan, you can use a second to bring your 'yarded Wort back.
@GengilOrbios - There are quite a few nasty black Goblin cards, so splashing black isn't a bad idea.

Why do I think the fear ability is so fitting for this card?

@KingXerxes
How does that deck even work? Wort doesn't seem to fit anywhere in there, and all the invokers seem useless, being too reliant on you drawing a Training Grounds, and even then, you'd need two or three in order for the mana cost of their abilities to be low enough that they'd keep up with even the worst of casual decks you'd find... Hunted Phantasm seems completely out of place. You don't get the goblins, your opponent does. And while that's helpful for Gempalm Incinerator, the incinerator only hits creatures and you're only playing two of them. If you really want to make a deck based around Wort, you should put in things that actually work with her: goblins that frequently hit the graveyard.
We all know Wort is good with Tarfire and Nameless Inversion, but there are other things that would work well in the deck. Goblin Grenade is a one-cost 5-damage spell, at the cost of losing a single Goblin, which Wort will just bring right back. Skirk Prospector is good as well, becau... (see all)

I use Wort for my EDH goblin commander, but Krenko is the chap that I tutor for most often. He is such and amazing enabler for swarming with goblins :)
