When I first saw Berserk, it was in a card shop, and it was an Alpha or Beta one. I read it like I would read any other card, not being from the age of Alpha. "Until end of turn, target creature's power doubles and it gains trample ability. If it attacks, target creature is destroyed at end of turn. I was like "That's pretty good. They had to give Green something back then." Even reading it wrong, and thinking it was more ridiculous than it is, I thought it was right at home in the set it was first released in. A testament to the power of Alpha/Beta/Unlimited.
5/5

As of 4/2/12 the highest rated single green card in MTG as a whole.

Mishra, Infect, and a Double Strike creature.
2x2x2x2= 16 times as much damage. Even if the creature was 1/1, you probably kill your opponent. If it's 2/2, they die in any format.
