Combine this card with Boggart Shenanigans, Mudbutton Torchrunner and Wort, Boggart Auntie to deal the equivalent of 14 damage every other turn. Fodder Launch and Sac Torchrunner, Shenanigans Activates, you deal 9 Damage and -5/-5 to target creature. Next Upkeep, return Torchrunner, play Torchrunner, and the following turn return Fodder Launch and repeat the process. Turn 8 win with only 4 mana.
@sethddickness: The point is with only 4 mana and without doing anything else. Usually this wins the game for me on turn 4 or 5 without that long combo.
Anyway, Mudbutton Torchrunner and this card is always a win.

The problem with this vs. Goblin Grenade is the difference in mana costs. Yes, this is nice, but you can't mobilize it as fast as the grenade and you still have to sacrifice the goblin. So, where a grenade costs a minimum of 2 (1 cmc creature), this costs at least 5. That, and you have to target a creature (which may have shroud) in order to hit the opponent.

This card does so much it's crazy. Goblins combo so well now, especially as they can play very easily in RB ... easily a favorite card of mine. Plus, like almost all goblin cards, great flavor.

The different in mana costs compared to Goblin Grenade is the real drawback here, however, Fodderlaunch benefits from cards like Frogtosser Banneret and Goblin Warchief, imo, Fodderlaunch is the better card. :)

Not a great card, due to the cost (4 mana plus a creature is really a lot).
However, as long as Phyrexian Obliterator, Abyssal Persecutor and similar are around, it's another reason to splash black in a goblin deck.
In general, try Dismember!
