I completely agree with SavageBrain. There are better one-drops, but troll shroud is always tasteful nonetheless.

Besides, i love the artwork for some odd reason.

THE KEYWORDING HAS COMMENCED.

Knew it was coming, but I don't like it. Makes them all seem less special now, and "hexproof" just seems contrived compared to the monosyllabic "shroud", which is strictly worse (unless you get mind-slavered).

Pretty great for a 1/1 for 1 mana, since most creatures you can get at that stage aren't particularly game changing, besides maybe essence warden and birds of paradise.

I got this Force of Willed on turn 0 during a Vintage tournament.

Oddly enough, despite how I built my deck, I did not draw into another creature for about the next 6-8 turns ( my opponent was playing a threshold control deck). What was he to think other than that him countering my Bogle was the right play?

So he was contemplating what to side in for game 2. He wasn't sure about anything- except the Bogle. So he showed me his Engineered Explosives that he sided exclusively for the Bogle he saw.

Game 2, I miraculously got him on the ropes thanks to a Punishment for 1 killing 3 Nimble Mongeese! I got to the point where my next attack would kill him, so what did he draw next turn to kill both of my 3 mana cost creatures? Yes, of course- he topdecked his Engineered Explosives and killed my dudes. That was ... (see all)

He's like, "ROFL ROFL ROFL Imma stick my tongue out like I'm saying "nyana nyana boo-boooooo, you can't blade me""

Truly it is an amazing thing that such a humble creature is such a great candidate to become an Eldrazi.

That's right, you can enchant this little guy all day long! He's especially effective with Favor of the Overbeing. Do that on your 2nd turn and your opponent will most likely start sweating. Really, Favor was made specifically for this guy. :)

I love this wet littel creature. The artwork is great. What a cute and handsom fellow. He can be really annoying for the opponent if you play all sorts of auras and equipment on him. Using Gigantiform is fun.

Couple this with Favor of the Overbeing. A 3/3 opponent-shroud, vigilance, flying Bogle ain't too shabby on turn 2.
