Could realistically see a cloud post/plains deck using stonehewer giant get this spirit of the hearth into play then get shield of kaldra onto it and lightning greaves or some combination thereof. After that, your opponent has to deal with a 4/5 flying indestructible that wont die to wrath of god and no way to target you directly. On other hand that's also a lot of set up, so good for casual, but not for tournaments, especially in the current power level of the game where black decks can turn 3 a dark depths and vampire hexmage into a 20/20 indestructible.

Stops any graveyard-removing shenanigans, too, because those always state "exile all cards from target player's graveyard". For someone like me, this is golden.

Flavortext took a while to sink in for me. At first I thought it was like "yeah, go ahead. Rob another house. See what happens." which made no sense to me, because the spirit would have failed to prevent the first robbery.
Upon deeper thought, he means "rob any house but this one and I won't care, but rob this one and I will rape you."
Upon deepest thought, he doesn't mean anything. But his snarl means something to the thief anyway.

This was so great; I used it in a cat-deck as a primary flier, and kept a black deck at bay for a long time because it ran Rend Flesh (this was pre-Doomblade), and the rest was player-targeting.

Either way, I'd always consider a spot for this guy, he's not amazing, but he does more than you'd realize at first glance.

I would have liked to have seen this as an archon. That minor complaint aside, this is pure white defence at its most hilarious (or annoying, depending on which side of the table you're sitting on). I can picture many a smirk when this resolves, but since its ability doesn't protect itself, it's still balanced (theoretically). Even if it isn't balanced, why should you care?

I propose that this card's community nickname (in the same vein as Tim and Swim Tim, etc) should hereafter "officially" be known as Mufasa.

I understand that creatures and players HAVE abilities, but saying "You have hexproof" sounds like a lolcat is talking.

"I can has Troll-shroud?"
