Hidden gem that's a lot more powerful than it looks.
I run it in an elementals deck with Flamekin Harbinger, Smokebraider, and Incandescent Soulstoke - all of which are shamans. And, of course, it's got mulldrifters, reveillarks, and shriekmaws like any elemental deck should.
Turn 1: Harbinger
Turn 2: Smokebraider, Swing for 1.
Turn 3: Soulstoke, Swing for 4.
Turn 4: Rageforger, Swing for 9, 3 more to the face.
Not only do additional Rageforgers bring more +1/+1 counters to the table, but they will both trigger, dealing 2 damage for each creature that has a +1/+1 counter on it - they don't even need to be shamans. An additional Rageforger on the 5th turn means you're attacking with 4 4/4's, each dealing 2 more to the opponment whether or not they're blocked.
The deck doesn't even need to play out like this - you can evoke mulldrifters early on, chump block with the harbinger, and then bring them both back via soulstoke... (see all)

This is way more exciting as a splash into a green +1/+1 counter deck than as a shaman centerpiece. Simic Initiates, Spike Drones, and Arcbound Workers give you good odds of having 2-3 creatures swinging when this goes active on your third turn. The 
slot gives you Aquastrand Spiders and Arcbound Stingers.
As has been mentioned, it is beautiful that these stack in effect. And if you really want to do damage with this too, you just move a couter over with a graft creature, or the spike ability, or a Fangren Firstborn
