Lol seriously are there any instants that says "Destroy target artifact or enchantment. It cannot be regenerated"?
But besides that, having this card can be funny to surprise your opponent when they attack your planeswalker :P

Regenerate stops destroy effects as well as damage. so it stops effects that would destroy them. also regenerate removes the damage that would be dealt to your planeswalker if I'm not mistaken.

I kinda like situational regeneration, especially when it is for any permanent :)
For example, you could use Garruk Wildspeaker's overrun ability at 4 loyalty and then regenerate him, putting him back to his base 3 loyalty I would assume, or possibly even 4, I have no idea!
