Yet there's a history of cheap enchantments being used in tournament Magic with great success. Survival of the Fittest and Oath of Druids being two good examples.
Too bad CotC doesn't do anything on its own, though.
Edit: try it with Wirewood Savage and a bunch of beasts. You won't be disappointed!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Primordial Sage. Stack it right and you tutor the top of your library for the best card and then put it into hand.

Yes it does, as the enchantment's ability checks the creature's power in play, and it only triggers once the creature comes into play. This can lead to some fun interactions with such cards as Ronin Warclub giving you 2 more cards to potentially topdeck, and other such CIP power boosts. Play with Pandemonium for additional CIP fun.

Does this card work with Yavaimaya Enchantress in that if you have several enchantments in play, when you bring in yavimaya enchantress then the top X cards becomes the new power of Yavimaya Enchantress when it comes into play (rather than 2)?

I'd play this card but when I hear the name I think of Cream Corn, and I really hate Cream Corn... and the card isnt good enough to push through those feelings.
