Landwalk...obsolete? Well, no. It's just color-hate within a color-matters set. It's to be expected. This was also part of their fail-safe in case scarecrows got to big in the environment. They didn't, but it's good to have a backup plan if you're a developer. And finally, it was an attempt at a cute throwback to the previous sets Boggart Loggers.
So it's not good, agreed. But it had a purpose.

I agree, design wise this is a fantastic card, even if it has a low power level.

Holy sh*t, plainswalk, really?! Really?! I didn't even know that that obsolete ability even still existed. With all the unblockable creatures in the metagame, why did they design something with plainswalk? And its a 2/1 for 3? Thats absurd, the only time anyone ever plays a 2/1 for 3 is if the creature has some amazing ability. What ability does this guy have? Pay 3: destroy a plains or scarecrow. . . . .Now thats just stupid. This card is virtually worthless.

They gleefully continued their rampage through the night, until dawn's first light shone brightly, and its rays illuminated... the Great Wall.
