Wotc needs to set up first party mtg single stores so we can finally get the card pricing in check. Its time skill should be the barrier rather then your income.

Technically it is a loss in card advantage (you give up 2 cards but only counter one) but it is a huge gain in mana advantage because you give up 0 and get rid of many of theirs. Then you realize that Black Lotus is another card that costs a card advantage and gives mana advantage, and this card will actually give MORE mana advantage than black lotus does when you counter a card with a CMC > 3.
This card is the black lotus counterspell. The control equivalent of lotus.
