I really wanted to use this land with vedalken plotter/ political trickery to steal my opponent lands, until I've read the rulings. I find it rather absurd that if the land changes controller during the turn, it's not the new controller that makes the decision to which opponent it goes, as it is specifically said in the rulings that this decision is took "at the end of turn" and not as it is tapped for mana.

ah well...

how about with storm cauldron?..and yes, land tax would do oh so nicely..
