..It would be pretty sweet to see him again in Innistrad.
Horror trope, amirite? ol' batshit Uncle here has that in spades.
Definitely before his time. And a good card even, mechanics-wise.
Why can't we have more cards like this?

Just to mess with people, they need to reprint this and have an entire set based around the "Uncle Istvan" creature type.

Strictly cooler than the Timeshifted version.

Ali from Cairo, Uncle Istvan, Al-Hajjaj, Abu-Jafar-- can anyone name all the cards in MAGIC that would almost certainly be considered Legendary Creatures except they were printed before Ice Age made sure to be consistent in what was Legendary and what wasn't?

Uncle Istvan: One of the few awesome things to come out of The Dark.

Most amazing card ever. 5/5 stars. So cool he doesn't even die to the legendary rule. Uncle Istvan owns face.

I am not joking. Not even a little bit. This is my dad. Down. To. A. Tee.

@djflo and ZeroSheep: Because the oracle text now calls him a Creature-Human, changelings aren't Creature-Uncle Istvans. It'd be really cool, but wizards had to go and ruin our fun. The best thing about changelings to me though is that I can use my goatnapper on them =D
