I think this card is actually really good in a Grixis deck, especialy with cards that have leave or come into play abillities. Extractor Demon cements that idea and allows you to mill almost a whole deck half way through the game. The mana cost for Sedris is a bit high but the ability may be well worth it. The Ability allows me to unearth my Blood Tyrants and Prince of Thralls(if my enemy manages to kill him) to hit big fast. All in all a great card and an exellent addition to any good Grixis deck.

If Sedris is in play and a creature card in your graveyard already has unearth, then you can choose to play either Sedris's or the creature's.

With this guy you don't want to just play normally, you want cards like Scion of Darkness. Anything that uses cycling or maybe even evoke like Shriekmaw would work with him. If you are running an EDH deck like him you are going to want both of those, so you have an ample supply of creatures in your graveyard to unearth. Or get a big fatty creature and discard it. Then just bring it into the game for a quick hit and run with unearth.
Over all i think he is great in the right deck, but your deck has to be built around him. Follow the above tips and you should be able to get a good deck running in no time :)

Im not sure, i wanna say either, but i bet its the 2B. Some might say "well hellspark is only 1R, this sucks" but what about the higher ones like hells thunders.. etc etc...

@majinara: That's why you send him directly to the graveyard from either your hand or the library retard.

I don't really like this guy. The manacost is pretty high for a 5/5 without any abilities except the unearth one (I'd expect it to have swampwalk, fear or whatever in addition). Also, to have it be of any use, you'd either need to buried alive very fat creatures, or you have to put utility creatures in there, like Solemn Simulacrum. Well it's probably fun to build a deck around him, but all in all, he could have been better imho.

God help your opponent if you have a creature with deathtouch in your graveyard, or several.

It looks like he should be a demon, not a zombie. How would a zombie ressurrect guys? They're not even sentient. Whatever. Flavor doesn't matter when you have an awesome card like this. It looks great with dredge...

Just to be sure, the Unearth cost won't be cheapened by Training Grounds, right? Otherwise this guy just became insane.
