I always loved this card. Awesome art. Like an evil elf with a bad side - I always thought it was one of the best representations of what a Magic card should look like. Not likely to use it - but just a cool card. And it's from the Dark and gets a sweet complimentary expansion symbol!

Strictly better than Elves of Deep Shadow from Ravnica.

An excellent mana fixer, and the Dark's art is one of the most impressive on a Magic cards I've seen.

The art actually looks real. I'm very sad to say that this is a rare thing in MTG.

OK, I really don't get the art love here. The art is pure meh. The girl is vaguely attractive if you are into the "goth" look, that is if you ignore the fact that one eye is higher than the other. Throw on the fact the the figure is breaking the "fourth wall" and staring at the player which makes my inner Vorthos vomit.

The flavor text for this one is also great. I wish the story for older sets like The Dark was as fleshed out as it is for the later sets. Then again, the vagueness is part of its charm.

@Psyklone: Check out Volkan Baga's illustrations. You won't be disappointed.
