You guys seem to be missing the best part of this card. Not only can she be used for land balancing (which I will admit, is a fairly week ability) but she can be used with lands that werent basic lands to being with. Take, for example, Glacial Chasm. Now I know this land was good to begin with, but what if you were able to take away the draw back for a measly 1 blue mana? well now you can. Simply activate her ability during there end step, and bam. Come your upkeep, the chasm is a basic land that not only doesn't have a draw back but can also tap for mana (which glacial cannot usually do). By the time there turn comes around again it will once again be itself and stopping all attacks coming your way.

Sadly that doesn't work. This ability is "until end of turn" not "the beginning of the next end step" so activating it end the end step does nothing, it still changes back at the end of the turn.
Same idea as Giant Growth really. If Giant growth was cast during combat to save a creature, and it was phrased as "until the beginning of the next end step" the creature would still die. So it actually happens during the cleanup phase when you discard down to your hand-size, remove all damage from creatures, and "until end of turn" and "this turn" affects end.

First, the art on this card is fan-friggin tastic. Second, Its from a multicolor block, and it fixes your mana as you need it, from a color that doesn't do that well. What this card is, is a "Hey, I'm running a 3+ color deck, and only drew two, or even one of my colors. Illusionist here will fix me up."

Guys, stop hating. This is how Esper and Grixis (and actually blue) fix mana- they have no access to green. Take a moment to think abut the color pie, you'll see what this is for
