when you know that the white one got first strike and vigilance and for only "penalty" require 2 colored mana to cast it and is an uncommon, this one seem pretty weak. But still decent. 2.5/5

I'd run one in an Allies deck, but outside of that he's wasted space. And even in an Allies deck, this guy isn't going to shine unless you get him out early and your opponent doesn't bother to remove him. It takes forever to get him big and tough!

The splashable mana cost really matters in an ally deck, since ally decks typically run at least two colors. The fact you can get him out early and consistently really matters, as he can grow into a very sizable threat that is more than worth your two mana. He might not be as flashy or powerful as Kazandu Blademaster, but he is easier to pull off.
