If you had a Mycoid Shepherd out and another creature with power 5 (example: Wooly Thoctar) in play and someone used Wrath of god or day of judgment, Would you gain 10 life? Or just 5 from Mycoid Shepherd?

@DarthParallax: ...Question. Are you stupid? Do you not understand what Alara was? This is a Naya card. Naya is about 5 or more power. That's their deal. Ignoring the fact that all major Eldrazi are 7 and up, not 5, and that if you looked at basically ANY other green, red, or white card in the set you would've noticed that the "power 5 or greater" clause came up a lot, but the Eldrazi DON'T USE WHITE, and HAVEN'T VISITED ALARA.

a 5 power for four is traditional and usually good. only drawback here is multiple colors and colored mana cost, but it has a little added bonus as well.

Idkn, but sometimes I wonder if Mycoid Shepherd is somehow a long lost relation to the Eldrazi. A kazillion years ago, Eldrazi didn't used to be plane-bound to Zendikar, so this is a possibility- though a very faint one.

This comes out turn two with 2 Forest, an arbor elf and a utopia sprawl.
It looks good in a GW flier acceleration deck at the critical 4-drop slot even though it has lots of competition, and isn't a flier.

Don't think it works with the Shepherd itself, but it makes Momentous Fall even more tasty in big dudes deck when you sac other creatures.

Has anyone even caught on that if you have 2 on the board and they both die at the same time to a board wipe that's a simultaneous life gain insurance of 20? They both have double triggers - Think about it. That's one of the reasons I love this card.
