A fun little combo with this guy is Mystic Snake...recurring counterspells!! Also add Murkfiend Liegefor some more fun and stompage. Comes out on 2nd turn with a Birds of Paradise or elves for that matter. LOL... I remember when cards like Juzam Djinn were considered powerful.

Very playable card, also works well when enchanted with Favor of the Overbeing for a 7/8 Flying/Vigilance very early in the game. Then keep swinging for the win and counter any threats with Mana Leak and Spell Pierce

Also nice with some temporary steal effect, like ray of command. Steal their creature, attack. Then play this guy, and put their creature back on top of their library.

OO, wow, I don't think I have ever seen a power/CMC ratio like thi, just incredible. That drawback can be turned into an advantage on many "comes into play" card.

I like this card, it fits into the curve of some cascade cards, and it can let you recycle the cascade mechanic. Which is pretty damn good for this block.

It also combo's with Conundrum Sphinx. Cast Nulltread Gargantuan before Conundrum Sphinx attacks and then you'll know what to name.
