Flavor-wise, this seems very cool, but what does this card actually do?

I kept looking at this card when I first opened it, unable to figure out what the angle was on it... then I realized that is definitely not good, lol.
The only thing that saves this guy from being a .5 is the artwork and the fact that it is a zombie.

i hate this card but i love it everyone starts talking about REALLY bad cards its too bad to even become storm crow or chimney imp status oh well, at least they didn't put in a intro pack

Will you people quit bitching? Zendikar was overpowered by ANY standard, and if it weren't for the possibility of things like this taking up common slots, every pack would have sold out in a week, just like the Innistrad incident. True, it is a mistake, and Wizards did think it was funny, but you know what? It was. Just like Chimney Imp, a card this awful in a set this amazing just highlights the good and bad parts of the set, and makes it easier for new players to know what to draft. 0.5/5, sure, hell 5x10^-42/5, but it's funny, and kind of necessary. I won't thank you, Mindless Null, but I will shake your hand and not be embarrassed. Goodbye, and don't ever, EVER come back.

If every card were at least decent, decent would be the new crap. Bad cards are just a necessary part of the card economy, nothing to be done about it.

Possibly if they come out with a vampire card with an awesome ability that requires a sacrifice on your end and you don't want to sacrifice anything good, this could be useful.
