Is it possible to stack this with Godhead of Awe so that your otherwise 1/1 creatures come up 3/1?
I'm a little fuzzy on how stacking passive effects works.

As I look at this card, I say to myself. "Soulcatchers' Aerie with a Thrummingbird"

Combine this with some first strike capability would be nice. Turning Viashino Slaughtermaster into a 3/1 with doublestrike would be fantastic. That said, I think the best application is turning an Eldrazi into a 3/1 skeet counter, and then shooting it down with a Stun Sniper.

Yeah this card is not constructed worthy, but I have a special place for it as it was one of my first cards. On a sidenote, you can put those feather counters on an opponent's creature. I'm sure you would prefer a Baneslayer to be a 3/1.

Too bad the creature won't become a bird as well, then we'd have a reason to play Airborne Aid over Distant Melody in a tribal deck. (Although Airborne Aid might sometimes still be advantageous if your opponent plays the manabirds.)

This guy rocks, and I don't throw that word around all too often. I had a bird deck before rotation with Squadron Hawks, this guy, Gravitational shift and other nonsense. It was so cool but I never got to play it in constructed.
He's nifty though, and the use of feather counters is awesome. My love for this set knows no bounds.
4/5

@Zeranox: It says may, and there's no penalty for piling extra feather counters on creatures.

Combo with Opalescence and Soulcatcher's Aerie. So many feathers.
