I have 4 of these in my Wither deck just as an absurd win condition. Black Sun's Zenith usually does a good job of netting him all those counters, or Massacre Wurm, Everlasting Torment means he can start withering everything to death, and some nice proliferate cards help him along quite nicely too. Going to have to think of a way to get him out quicker though, as people have said it's hard to grab those counters on turn 6.

Would this be broken at 5 mana? Triskelion is colourless and does more or less the same thing without having to jump through as many hoops, whereas this guy costs two colours and is the same CMC. I do like how once he gets going he can clear the board of 1/1s straight away though...

I really wish I still had this card. This was one of my first couple of cards, I wish I realized good it would be with cards like Basilisk Collar (I actually had one too). Thanks for the memories Deathbringer!

Thi guy + Phyrexian Devourer + Necrotic Ooze = Insta-Win. Works as well as Triskelion for the combo, but with better art!

This is good but it takes too long to play and doesn't buff up as fast as others. It'll be better if it destroyed all creatures that cost less than 6 to play when it enters the battlefield in addition to its trigger ability. Then it would be useful.
