"Exile a card from your hand face down. You may look at it for as long as it remains exiled." I HATE THIS CARD. I tapped it for its first ability and exiled a card face down. The game the proceeded to last for 14 hours. I didn't know when to STOP looking at the exiled card, I was just following the card's rules... "for as long as it remains exiled."

i was reading an article about infinite combos. apparently theres a 2nd turn win combo with this card. i just dont know what it is. it was done around the time of urza's block so it couldnt have been done with any cards after that. and apparently this was the only card played on the 1st turn if i read it correctly.

There's a few combos with this, but it's surprisingly slow for a 0-cost artifact (since you have to spend a turn to put each thing in, and another turn to get it out.) Also, artifact removal will make you cry.

Anybody else remember when some brilliant soul discovered you could break Lion's Eye Diamond with this and its price briefly surged to like $10 before people realized you can break Lion's Eye Diamond about a thousand other ways too?
Those were some good times. We were all high on Tolarian Academy and thought the world was our giant oyster.
