So instead of losing the game through loss of life, you lose the game thorough decking yourself.... either way you still lose. This card is rubbish.

Question: I'm building a cumulative upkeep deck for kitchen table play. If I remove my upkeep, say, skip it every turn, would that cause the not paying this card's upkeep to trigger? Like, does the effect trigger even if the cost was never asked for?

@Kirbster: Did you actually read this card? It can in the least stall your opponents attacks for half a dozen turns, and at best make it impossible for your opponent to win by dealing damage to you. Also, it doesn't kill you quickly. If you have it exile 6 cards from your deck, it's already in play for four turns. If you played this on turn four, how long do games in your area last?

I don't say this card is tournament worthy. But any blue enchantment that can completly negate your opponents attacks for several turns is worth a second look. Like, consider it in a mill deck. Your opponents library is down to 10 or 20 cards, you just need a few more turns to mill away the rest. This card buys you that time. Who cares what happens to your library if you win?

Or, to put it into other words: your library is a resource. Same as mana, life and whatever. In most games, that resource is barely touched. You lose or win with maybe 30 cards left in your library that played no role in this game. T... (see all)

@Lueseto: Just on principle you shouldn't give any card 5 stars just for a single combo. If that is the only thing that makes this good in any way, this is a bad card.

That said, that's not the only thing that makes this playable. But a 5 star card can be thrown in any deck that can pay its cost, and instantly make it better. This does nearly the opposite.

negative 3 out of 5. A few good combos for it, based on cards that combo everything. Junk
