I have figured out the mystery - that ability of hers is her sneezing. It incapacitates her until the end of turn and afflicts a target with the flu. Or maybe the common cold.

Power and madness, bullcrap. The grandma is just way too contagious.

Grandmother Sengir is actually a 3/3 Human Wizard with Madness BlackBlackBlackBlack and "If you play Grandmother Sengir by paying its madness cost, it enters the battlefield with +10/+0. (This effect lasts indefinitely.)"

You have to scratch off a bit of excess paint here and there to reveal it. :P
