It would be somewhat playable (in edh at least) if it just said 1 damage to target creature or player, then it might be playable.

OK, yeah, it says Serpent right there on the card. Oracle definitely needs to reflect that.
Make it a Leviathan too, sure... but it's also pretty clearly a Fish.
Leviathan Fish Serpent. Got a ring to it.

I played with this dude pretty much nonstop during the dark days of Homelands, and only untapped him a couple times. He shreds attackers, Serrated Arrows picks off fliers, your Zephyr Falcons swoop in for the win. Not that bad, when you're screwing around with old Homelands and Fallen Empires cards.

That's the biggest Chauliodus sloani I've ever seen. In real life, viperfish are about 30 cm long and impale other fish on those teeth, so at this size it's even scarier.

"Leviathan Fish Serpent" is a pretty decent compromise.
1. I don't see any reason for non-Leviathan-Serpent "Fish" to be made.
2. I don't see any reason for non-Leviathan-Fish "Serpents" to not be called just "Snake"
3. "Leviathan Fish Serpent" can FINALLY go TRIBAL! :D
4. Merfolk should be retyped "Fish Human" because I want cards that give "+1/+1 and flying to all Fish" to be cool ^_^
5. Some Dragons should be "Serpent Dragons" because quite clearly that is what they are.
6. Phyrexian Dreadnought is clearly a Leviathan
7. And what about Krakens.
8. And Octopus.
9. .....OR, just use the type "Sea Monster" and avoid all this junk mess xP
