the card sucks, but what could be more metal than decapitating your own creature to hurl its head at your enemies? nothing, thats what.

Would be much better, even pretty good, if you didn't have to tap it.

Much fun in Eternal formats with Eldrazi tokens, act of treason and the like.

Not bad in a control/fling deck for use in situations where you're gonna lose the stolen creature & don't have the card you need for flinging it, like a back up plan. Helps achieve metalcraft as well.

I am proud to say that the first infinite combo I discovered involved this card and Void Maw. I'm pretty sure it completely didn't work, and was based on my not knowing how to play Magic but having a really cool Orc Shaman precon deck and wanting to do something infinitely, so I decided to read the cards as if that's what they did. Ah, the good old days. I forgot the rest of the combo, but I remember needing red mana for some reason. (this was before I knew what mana was though, so I'm not sure.)

Wish the activation cost didn't have that pesky in it.
