MasterOfEtherium continues to pleasantly surprise me, treating this card with all the reverence it deserves. Good show, pip pip!

We need to bring back the Homarids.

It's kind of annoying how, instead of creating its own creatures like Homarids and thrulls, MtG is just about elves and goblins and vampires. I want unique fantasy races.

@ Verlande: Magic has plenty of its own fantasy races: Vedalken, Kor, Metathran, Orochi (snakefolk), Moonfolk, Viashino (arguably close to lizardmen, but whatever), Phyrexians, etc.

It's just that the fantasy standbys are the most popular.

I love this card, it's adorable- a lobster with a little staff! I want to hug it to bits!

Huh. Am I the only one who finds it odd that this Homarid is far more effective against Return to Ravnica's merfolk then it ever was against its own block's?
