Why is it that no one ever mentions Transguild Courier when they talk about Knight of New Alara?

Pretty sweet, especially in Hazezon Tamar EDH. Suddenly you're putting about 7 4/4s into play.

While its true that this guy will be the opponent's immediate target when it hits the board, it has extremely massive synergy with other multi-colored creatures. My advice would be to enchant this guy with Shield of the Oversoul to keep him from getting killed by burn and destroy spells.

I think this guy may replace the Wilt-Leaf Liege in green/white decks, if the liege cycles out of the standard format. As mentioned above, he's great with blades as he turns them into 6/5 creatures with abilities that still cost only 2 to cast. The downside is that he requies significantly more backup than the aformentioned liege. Any deck you play him in would almost certainly need to run 4 Dauntless Escort.

He can embrace Grixis all he wants. It's just gonna make the zombies eat him faster. Apparently there's such a thing as being TOO politically correct.

this card is good if your opponent has exhasted all removal from his hand. but very bad when you attack with something and they destroy your knight and then kill the newly debuffed creatures.
