Absolutely Awful ! Let's see. What might be some better choices to do something similar ?

Diminish - 1 CMC , drops power to 1 even for creatures with power > 7, drops toughness to 1 so it can be easily killed
Turn to frog - similar to Diminish except 2 CMC
Ovinize - 2 CMC, drops power to 0 even for creatures with power > 7, drops toughness to 2 so it can be easily killed
Unsummon - 1 CMC, returns it to player's hand which is also temporary but also makes the player waste more mana to re-cast it

Nope, no better choices at all !

Why? For 3 less, I can just Unsummonthe creature or Pongifyit. If we compare this to cards of other colors, I could Fog to prevent all damage for 3 less, or Doom Blade for 2 less.
