Not very happy with this version as it lost the great flavor text. The art is definitely better than 5th editions eyesore but not quite match to the classic version.
As a card he's as good as ever.
Like Doaj, I wouldn't mind seeing the knights cycle complete. It wouldn't be so bad or out of place for Green & Blue, both have plenty of Humans and both had knights already at Mirage block, remember?

It would be nice if the flavor text was still there, but the eye-popping awesome that is the artwork makes up for it as far as I'm concerned. He's pretty much a must-have for any Black deck, given his really low mana cost and the fact that he's really useful against any colour, and absolutely brutal against White.

Very comparable to Hand of Cruelty. 2/2 for 2 mana is basic enough. With first strike he's pretty good. With protection from white he's a perfect cheap fighter. Good addition to any deck that needs some cheapos to protect with until the big baddies get tossed down.

I love how unlike with some of the origional versions of him, it states he's a 'HUMAN' type creature aswell as 'Knight'.
I love oldies... Just can't believe how many times he's been reprinted already LOL. Lol, guess it's true, 'only the good die young', he's too evil to just disapear from type two anytime soon lol.
