A few years ago I used to run a red/green weenie deck with a lot of creature pump, tell you what most people don't like it when you burst in second round with a raging goblin all pumped up to 4/4 with giant growth, unless it was early rounds this card was all that usefull

The haste is still good, 1 damage first turn if you are going first or they dont have a creature out. Makes devour fodder or becomes a 2/2 or 3/3 attacker a few turns later.

With the new Goblin Lord giving Haste, this seems like an odd choice. Not sure what I would have done in their place (does red have another ability they can put on a 1/1 for 1?)...

im a big fan of the rager this little man is kicking strong as ever 1rst turn smack for 1 and can keep ur burns in hand and next turn why not buff him with teetering peaks or just goblin war paint then next kick a bushwhacker and the pain keeps comeing a solid one drop

Last time I checked, this guy didn't give your opponent free lands.
Thanks to all those people who claim Goblin Guide is just better, though.

Instant 4 in a goblin deck.

What's the point? The haste only means 1 more damage, which doesn't usually make a difference. Most goblins are better. For example, Mogg Fanatic gets the extra 1 damage, but can do it to a creature instead, making it far superior.
