If ever you meet a redonkulous card, Nocturnus is the guy. absolutly INSANE. He's fantastis. Run Duress to keep that last removal out of the other guy's hand, maybe soul stair Expo, and you'll never lose this guy.... or the game for that matter

I. love. this. card. When m10 rolled around I ripped one in a draft and traded for another one. I just knew it was going to be worth it in zendikar. The art is also fantastic (pretty big fan of Swanland's style)

This card is awesome combined with the new stuff from Zendikar, it's almost unfair. But, if you go black you need this guy and some vampires. Get two out for +4/+2 and flying and what your opponent cry. Also his abilities help you slay that overpowered Baneslayer Angel.

FINALLY! I GOT MY PLAYSET OF PROMOS OF THESE AT FNM TWO DAYS AGO!!!

MY VAMPIRE DECK FINALLY CAN WIN! (I went 6-1 for the first time ever. Vampire Nocturnus FTW!)

But seriously, this card is amazing!

I wish a red counterpart would be printed, so as to not discourage this from being played in RB vampire decks. Or just use the same principle and print a RB card. Oh well.

a lot better than most people are giving it credit for. He lets you play with the top card of your deck revealed and he gets +2/+1 and flying almost all the time in a mono black deck all for 4 mana. And this guy definitly makes child of the night vicious
