@ Mojovince, except to say that it is strictly better is to say that there is no instance in which it is not better. The only way this would be strictly better is if it had lifelink. Strictly better is only applicable to comparable things. Take 2 blue counterspells, say CounterspellandCancel. Counterspell is cheaper than cancel and is therefore strictly better than cancel. Bolt is strictly better than shock etc.
