Great art and flavor text. I don't know if it's practical mana-wise, but I think this is a good job by design.

Look at the 9E Scaled Wurm. Notice the similarities, even in body position?

Why did this card take so long to design??? This is the sauce! It isn't good, exactly, but I promise that I will play it. At least once.

Obviously a Scaled Wurm here as mentioned, so it merely keeps its power and is black instead. :) nice catch!

OK for limited, if the cards you pull are forcing you to play black he's worth a slot or two, but not good for any kind of constructed play. 3/5

On constructed: NO.
On limited: Run it if you're desperate for a finisher, I suppose, but don't pick it early.
Miscellaneous: @ Kanguilla: Good eye! That is really great flavor right there.

Meeeee... I wanted to be first ;(... xD
Yeah, I agree, although I would make him cost less

I want to like it. The fact that it's a) a nice finisher and b) a regenerator makes me want to like it, but that mana cost.... ouch! 8 mana is no small price to pay. I would probably prefer Ulamog's Crusher for 8 mana.

Good for a skeleton tribal deck, since most of them are rather puny. For any other constructed deck though it's unplayable.
