Halimar Excavator and Harabaz Druid +Splinter Twin + Crab Umbra = Decked Opponent and infinite mana.
the only way you could play this on a Jwari Shapeshifter and use it as a cloning ally is if the Jwari Shapeshifter came into play and stayed a Jwari Shapeshifter (Leyline of Vitality maybe). otherwise it would create a new version of whatever you had cloned to keep it in play (Harabaz druid, sea gate loremaster, turntimber ranger, Umara rapter, etc ) which would still be fantastic.
Allies have a turn three win with this card.

Splinter Twin + Emrakul's Hatcher + Doubling Season = Eldrazi Spawn Token Explosion!
This combo results in:
2 Copy Tokens instead of 1
12 Eldrazi Spawn Tokens instead of 6
Repeat this combo as many times as you can during your turn.

Posted By: ultratog1028 (8/18/2010 1:10:28 PM) HOWEVER, why is it red? This seriously doesn't feel red at all. I know that wizards wants the 'mirror copy' mechanic to be red, but it still doesn't feel red.
It should not be red vesuvan doppelganger is the card the specifically says that it is a certain color

This + Anything that has an EtB effect. And/or a good tap-activated ability. And/or a good effect when it attacks. Seriously, this card is so wide-open useful that it's almost hard to have a good discussion about it - there's just SO many things that can it can be used on. Basically never a bad draw and not too often a bad play.
Also, Doubling Season etc etc. (Also not much that THAT card doesn't improve...)
