I thought he was kinda so-so at first, but when I stopped and actually considered it more thoroughly, he really is a damn strong creature! And not only in a Vampire tribal deck. His ability to BLOCK makes him a whole lot stronger than Ashenmoor Gouger for R/B aggro decks. A solid threat for a 3 mana creature. That drawback of his won't be a huge problem. 5/5

Great Flavor text. I feel like that sometimes. This might have a place in MBA, but it's difficult to gauge when Vampire Nighthawk dominates pretty much every black deck-list as a three-drop.

This is probably one of the funniest creatures I've ever seen.

If only she had been riding a Bala Ged Scorpion instead of a giant ant.

I like the idea here, design and flavor. I don't think anything like it's been done before, but hey Magic has a lot of cards. Ties in a bit with the defender theme, in a bad way for it but interactions like this bring a bit of nuance to the set as a whole.

This was definitely inspired by that 80's cartoon/toyline, Sectaurs!

Arrogant Bloodlord is riding an ant......your argument is invalid.

Reminds me of Ashenmoor Gouger.
Ergo it's good.
